PI Profile: Dr. Abdel-Aty’s involvement with the UTC goes back to his days as a doctoral student. “I received the Dissertation Award for outstanding Ph.D. dissertation from the University of California Transportation Center (UCTC) in 1995. It was an honor to receive this award, as it was very competitive, and provided me with support to pursue my research.” Read more.
