Georgia Tech students win first place in APBP's Student Poster Competition

Georgia Tech students Alice Grossman, Alexandra Frackelton, Evangelos Palinginis, Alper Akanser, Ramik Sadana, and Felipe Castrillon won first place in the Student Poster Competition last week at the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals' annual conference for their poster, "Innovative Technology for Sidewalk Assessment: Development and Field Deployment."

They received the Ken Cross Scholarship for student researchers which supported them in attending the 2013 APBP conference in Boulder, CO, and will support them in attending the conference next year in St. Louis.
