Georgia Tech researchers receive award from American Society of Engineering Education

A team of Georgia Tech researchers recently won an award from the American Association of Engineering Education. Michael Rodgers (Civil & Environmental Engineering), Carolyn Noyes (the Associate Vice President for Learning Excellence), and two recently graduated PhD students Mary Kate Watson and Tom Wall received the Stephen J. Ressler Best Paper Award for a paper entitled “Development and Application of a Sustainable Design Rubric to Evaluate Student Abilities to Incorporate Sustainability into Capstone Design Projects.” The paper was submitted to the Civil Engineering Division at the 2013 ASEE conference. The award was given at the Civil Engineering Division Awards Banquet on June 17th from 6:30 – 9:30 PM at the 2014 ASEE conference in Indianapolis.
